The POP3 and IMAP4 management interface in the Exchange Management Console lets you modify the settings for your POP3 and IMAP4 users.

| After you have configured any settings for the POP3 service by using the Exchange Management Console, you must restart the POP3 service. For more information about how to restart the POP3 service, see How to Start and Stop the POP3 Service. |
The POP3 and IMAP4 tab in the work pane displays the following columns.
- Name

This column displays the POP3 and IMAP4 objects.
When you select the POP3 object, the following action is available either by right-clicking the POP3 object or by using the action pane.
- Properties

Click Properties to view and modify the settings for the POP3 service.
