Use the Get-IPAllowListEntry cmdlet to obtain the IP address configuration information for the Connection Filter agent on the computer on which the command is run.

Syntax

Get-IPAllowListEntry [-Identity <IPListEntryIdentity>] [-ResultSize <Unlimited>] [-Server <ServerIdParameter>]
Get-IPAllowListEntry -IPAddress <IPAddress> [-ResultSize <Unlimited>] [-Server <ServerIdParameter>]

Parameters

Parameter Required Type Description

IPAddress

Required

System.Net.IPAddress

If you want to view the IP Allow list entry or entries that contain a specific IP Address, use the IPAddress parameter to specify an IP Address. For example, if you have an IP Allow List entry that specifies a range of IP addresses from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.20, enter any IP address in the IP Allow List IP address range to return the IP Allow list entry.

Identity

Optional

Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.IPListEntryIdentity

If you want to view a specific IP Allow list entry, use the Identity parameter to specify the configuration number. When you add an IP address to the IP Allow list, the Identity parameter is automatically incremented.

ResultSize

Optional

Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Unlimited

The ResultSize parameter specifies the maximum number of results to return. If you want to return all entries, use unlimited for the value of this parameter. The default value is 1000.

Server

Optional

Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.ServerIdParameter

To specify a different Hub Transport server on which to run the Get-IPAllowListEntry cmdlet, include the Server parameter in the command. If you do not use the Server parameter, the command is run on the local server where the command is run.

You cannot use this cmdlet to configure other Edge Transport servers remotely.

Detailed Description

To run the Get-IPAllowListEntry cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:

  • Exchange Server Administrator role and local Administrators group for the target server

To run the Get-IPAllowListEntry cmdlet on a computer that has the Edge Transport server role installed, you must log on by using an account that is a member of the local Administrators group on that computer.
