Use the Customize View dialog box to show or hide items in the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). These settings apply to the entire MMC and will be saved with the user's profile when the MMC is closed.
The Customize View dialog box contains the following settings:
- MMC

Show or hide the following MMC items:
- Console tree
- Standard menus (Action and View)
- Standard toolbar
- Status bar
- Description bar
- Taskpad navigation pads
- Action pane

- Menus
- Toolbars

Note: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 does not add any menus or toolbars to MMC, so these settings do not affect the default Exchange Management Console. If you create a custom console with multiple snap-ins, these settings apply to all snap-ins. - Menus
