The Remove-UMVirtualDirectory cmdlet removes an existing virtual directory from a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 that has the Client Access server role installed.

Remove-UMVirtualDirectory -Identity <VirtualDirectoryIdParameter> [-Confirm [<SwitchParameter>]] [-DomainController <Fqdn>] [-WhatIf [<SwitchParameter>]]

Use this parameter to specify the name of the virtual directory that you are removing.

This parameter specifies the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the domain controller that retrieves data from the Active Directory directory service.

WhatIf

System.Management.Automation.SwitchParameter

This parameter instructs the command to simulate the actions that it would take on the object. By using the WhatIf parameter, the administrator can view what changes would occur without having to apply any of those changes. The default value is $true.

Detailed Description

The Remove-UMVirtualDirectory cmdlet removes an existing virtual directory from an Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging server. You can remove the default Exchange Unified Messaging Web Services virtual directory or another Exchange Unified Messaging Web Services virtual directory.

To run the Remove-UMVirtualDirectory cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the Exchange 2007 Server Administrator role and local Administrators group for the target server.
