Select each feature that you want to enable for the Front End pool. At a minimum, you must deploy instant messaging (IM), which is always enabled and cannot be deselected. You also have the option of deploying other features, such as conferencing, Enterprise Voice, and call admission control (CAC). Some features are dependent on your topology. The following table shows the available features (top) and the functions offered to users (left). The selections in the table are what you should select to enable those features for your organization.

Note:
If you would like to enable CAC in your deployment, it is required that you enable CAC in exactly one pool per central site. CAC is recommended if you are deploying voice features or A/V Conferencing.
