Transporter Shell commands are dependent on the local Lotus Notes APIs. Therefore, you must enter in the password associated with the local Lotus Notes client ID file. In the following example, a variable named $credential is created, which contains the ID password as an encrypted string:

$Credential = Get-Credential kakers

Where kakers is the filename of the local Notes ID file without the .ID extension.

You will be prompted to type in the ID file's password. Then, just reference $Credential whenever you need to pass the Notes ID file password to perform a task. The $Credential variable can be referenced until the Transporter Management Shell is shut down.
