Communications Server 2007 R2 Attendant can be installed by using a file server on your network as a software distribution point for the Communicator 2007 R2 Windows Installer package. At rollout time, you can send an e-mail message to users that explains the installation process and provides a link to the distribution point.

Note:
The Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 must be installed on the users computers before Communications Server 2007 R2 Attendant can be installed.

To install Communications Server 2007 R2 Attendant on a desktop computer

1. Double-click AttendantConsole.msi.
   
   
2. Click Next.
   
   
3. Read the Microsoft Software License Terms, and then click Next.
   
   
4. Select I accept the terms in the License Agreement, and then click Next.
   
   
5. Choose a destination folder, or accept the default and then click Next.
   
   
6. Click Installto begin the installation.
   
   
7. After the setup files are installed, click Next.
   
   
8. Click Finishto complete the installation.
