To configure desktop sharing complete the procedure in Walkthrough: Configure desktop sharing. Client configuration is not required for users to participate in a desktop sharing session. However, users who want to share their desktops will need to install the Communicator Web Access Plug-in. They will be prompted to install the plug-in the first time they try to share their desktop.

A meeting participant who uses Communicator Web Access and wants to share his or her desktop, he must be running Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) or Windows Vista, and either Internet Explorer 6 SP2, Internet Explorer 7, or Firefox 3.0.x with the CWAPlugin.exe add-on installed on it. The CWAPlugin.exe Firefox add-on provides the required support for ICE, SRTP/SRTCP, and RDP.
