In the event that you need to uninstall Web Service Provider and its components, you must perform the following steps in order:

Uninstallation Steps

  1. Uninstall Web Service Provider.

  2. Uninstall Microsoft Unified Communications Manager API Redistributable

  3. Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable

  4. Uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (Optional. Do not uninstall this component if other applications use it.)

The Web Service Provider Installation Package can be uninstalled at any time. There are no dependencies for this action.

To uninstall Web Service Provider

  • In Control Panel, under Programs and Features, click Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Web Service Provider, and then click Change. Web Service Provider remains in the Programs and Features list. If you want to reinstall it later, you can do so in the same manner as you uninstalled it: by clicking it in the list and then clicking Change.

To uninstall the Microsoft Unified Communications Manager API Redistributable

  • In Control Panel, under Programs and Features, click Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Microsoft Unified Communications Manager API 2.0 Core Redist 64-bit, and then click Uninstall.

To uninstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable

  • In Control Panel, under Programs and Features, click Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable X64, and then click Uninstall.

To uninstall the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (optional)

  • In Control Panel, under Programs and Features, click Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, and then click Uninstall.

To uninstall the Web Service Provider Installation Package

  • In Control Panel, under Programs and Features, click Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Web Service Provider Installer Package, and then click Uninstall.
