At this point, you are ready to cut over production users to the new load balanced environment. To do this, you update the load balanced reverse proxy and Edge Servers to point to your production pool. Then, you add the Domain Name System (DNS) A records in the corporate and public DNS to point to the new load balancer virtual IPs (VIPs). It is recommended that you do this at the start of a maintenance window to provide ample time for any client DNS caches to expire. Keep in mind there may be a period of time when some users may log on to the old server and some to the new server. In case any issues arise as a result of moving to the load balanced pool, simply revert to the non-load balanced edge environment. After the load balanced system has been functioning under load in a stable manner, you can decommission and repurpose the non-load balanced servers.
