At any time, you can view the following information about a Monitoring Server.

General Settings Category.Server name and reports URL.

CDR and QoE Status Category.For each service, you can see
the service name, service status, SQL instance, database name, and
record-purging settings.

Event Log Category.Errors and events logged by Monitoring
Server.

Performance.Counters for number of quality reports received
per second, number of invalid reports per second, and the number of
database transactions per second.
To view general settings and Monitoring Server status

Open the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 snap-in: Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Office Communications Server 2007 R2.

In the console tree, expand Monitoring Servers.

Click the Monitoring Server for which you want to view settings and status.

In the Results pane, click the Status, Event Log, or Performancetab.
To start the logging tool

Open the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 snap-in: Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Office Communications Server 2007 R2.

In the console tree, expand Monitoring Servers.

Right-click the Monitoring Server that you want to log, and then click Logging Tool.

Do one of the following:
- To open a new debug session, click
New Debug Session.
- To open an existing debug session, click
Existing Debug Session.
- In the logging tool, under Components, select the
QoEServiceand
CdrServicecomponents to log Monitoring Server information.
