You can specify the format, resolution, and maximum transmission quality of video streamed by clients during audio/video conferences hosted by Office Communications Server 2007 R2.

To configure maximum video quality for clients

  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Office Communications Server 2007 R2.

  2. In the console tree, expand the forest node, and then do one of the following:

    • Expand Enterprise pools.

    • Expand Standard Edition servers.

  3. Right-click the name of the pool for which you want to configure client video settings, click Properties, and then click Front End Properties.

  4. Click the Videotab.

  5. In the Maximum video qualitydrop-down list box, click one of the following:

    • Unlimited

    • HD720p – 1280x720 – (1.5Mbps)

    • VGA – 640x480 – (600Kbps)

    • CIF – 352x288 – (250Kbps)
