After specifying logging options, global options, and any advanced options (if appropriate), you can start logging and create the log file.

To generate a log file

  1. In Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Logging Tool, New Debug Session, click Options.

  2. Verify that the options you want to use are configured.

  3. When you are ready to start logging, click Start Logging.

  4. Reproduce the issue you want to debug, and then click Stop Logging. The .ETL log file is written to the Log File Folderthat you specified during logging configuration.
