There might be times when you need to start a virtual server that is not currently running. For example, when you change the connectivity settings for a virtual server, The Communicator Web Access snap-in automatically stops that server. You must start that server before users can access the site. You can use the snap-in to start a virtual server.
To start a virtual server
-
Log on to the computer that is running the Communicator Web Access snap-in. To start a virtual server, you must log on as a member of the local Administrators group and the RTCUniversalServerAdmins group.
-
Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Communicator Web Access.
-
In the console tree, expand the name of the computer that hosts the virtual server that you want to start, right-click the name of the virtual server, and then click Start.
