If you work in a multilingual organization, you can download and install the Communicator Web Access Language Pack. The Language Pack performs two key tasks. First, it localizes the Communicator Web Access sign-on page based on the user’s browser settings. For example, if a user has his or her Web browser configured for French, the sign-on page appears in French. Second, the sign-on page (regardless of the user’s browser settings) includes a drop-down list box that shows all of the supported languages. Users can select a language from the drop-down list box, which results in both the sign-on page and the subsequent Communicator Web Access pages appearing in that language.
Following are the supported languages in the Communicator Web Access Language Pack:
- Chinese (simplified)
- Chinese (traditional)
- Danish
- Dutch
- English
- Finnish
- French
- German
- Italian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Portuguese
- Spanish
- Swedish
If you install the Language Pack, each of these languages are installed. Administrators cannot choose which languages are or are not installed.
The Language Pack does not ship as part of Office Communications Server 2007 R2. Instead, you must download it from the Microsoft Downloads Center.
