Media stack performance counters are shipped only with A/V Multipoint Control Unit (MCU), Microsoft Unified Communications Managed API (UCMA) 2.0 servers, Application-Sharing MCU, and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Mediation Server. They are not available on clients (Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2, Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 Attendant, and Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 consoles).

The Media stack performance counters are controlled by the following registry subkey:

Enable Operational, Planning, and Informational performance counters.

By default, the value is 0 for clients, and is 1 for A/V MCU, UCMA 2.0, Application-Sharing MCU, and Mediation Server. Values of 2 or larger are reserved for system use.
