Update Address Lists Manually

You can manually update an address list instead of waiting for scheduled updates to occur. The updating process incorporates the changes you have made to address list memberships since the last scheduled update.

To update an address lists manually:

  1. Start System Manager
    On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. In the console tree, double-click Recipients, and then double-click Recipient Update Services.
  3. In the details pane, right-click the Recipient Update Service responsible for updating the domain you want to update, and then click Update Now.
