You can modify any template by changing one or more of the
template's controls. Depending on the type of control you select to
edit, you can change its name, value, location, size, or
function.
On the Start menu, point to
Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click
System Manager.
In the console tree, double-click Recipients,
double-click Details Templates to expose the language list,
and then double-click a language.
In the details pane, double-click the template with the control
you are modifying.
In the Properties dialog box, perform one of the
following tasks:
Note The MS-DOS
Templates tab is used the same way as the Templates tab.
However, the MS-DOS Templates tab applies to Windows 16-bit
operating systems. The Templates tab applies to Windows
32-bit operating systems.
To modify a template control for computers using Windows 32-bit
operating systems, click the Templates tab.
To modify a template control for computers using Windows 16-bit
operating systems, click the MS-DOS Templates tab.
Select the control you want to edit, and then click
Modify.
In the Control dialog box, change the values and select
different options for the control type you selected, and then click
OK.
To view the template with the modified control, in the
Properties dialog box, click Test. Verify that the
changes to the template appear correctly, and then click either
OK or Cancel.
Tip To keep track of
information concerning the template, click the Details tab.
In Administrative note, type information about the control
type you modified, and then click Apply.
