The ASCII format options are: W3C Extended log file format,
Microsoft IIS log file format, and NCSA log file format. W3C
Extended and NCSA formats will record data in a four-digit year
format, while the Microsoft IIS format uses a two-digit year format
and is provided for backward compatibility with earlier
systems.
Right-click the SMTP virtual server, and then click
Properties.
On the General tab, select Enable logging.
Under Active log format, select a log format, and then
click Properties.
On the General Properties tab, specify the log file size
and location.
If you have selected the W3C Extended logging format, click the
Extended Properties tab, and then select the items you want
to track. Though the names of these settings are based on WC3
conventions, they apply to specific SMTP values. For a full
description of these extended properties, on the Extended
Properties tab, click Help.
