This topic provides information about how to troubleshoot the following issue in an environment that is running a non-English version of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

When you click Toolbox in the Exchange Management Console after installing Update Rollup 1 for Exchange 2007 SP1, you receive the following error message:

Public Folder Management Console is not an allowed Snap-in.

Resolution

This issue is addressed in more recent update rollup packages for Exchange 2007 SP1. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Before you install a newer update rollup package, you must remove Update Rollup 1 for Exchange 2007 SP1. To do this, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.

  2. Install the latest update rollup package for Exchange 2007 SP1. For more information about how to obtain the latest update rollup package for Exchange 2007 SP1, see How to Obtain the Latest Service Pack or Update Rollup for Exchange 2007.

Note:
To successfully resolve this issue, you must remove Update Rollup 1 for Exchange 2007 SP1 before installing a more recent update rollup package.
