Microsoft® Exchange Server 2007 setup cannot continue because the schema update process does not have Active Directory® directory service Schema administrative and Enterprise administrative credentials.

Exchange 2007 setup requires that the logged on user who installs Microsoft Exchange has Schema administrative and Enterprise administrative credentials for the Active Directory forest.

As part of the installation process, Microsoft Exchange setup extends the Active Directory schema to add Exchange 2007–specific classes and attributes.

If the logged on user does not have Schema Administrator and Enterprise administrative rights, the schema update process will fail.

To resolve this issue, add the logged on user to the Schema Admins and Enterprise Admins groups, then log off and log on again, or log off and log on using an account that already has Schema administrative and Enterprise credentials for the Active Directory forest.
