Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 setup cannot continue because it is unable to contact a valid Active Directory directory service site.

Microsoft Exchange setup requires that the server that is used for installation of Microsoft Exchange be able to locate the configuration naming context in Active Directory.

To resolve this issue, verify that the user account running Microsoft Exchange setup is logged on to Active Directory and then rerun setup. If this does not resolve the issue, follow the guidance on using the NETDIAG.Exe and DCDIAG.Exe support tools from the topics below to further diagnose the problem.
