Instead of starting a new analysis, you might want to use the Microsoft Exchange Troubleshooting Assistant to view a report from a previous analysis.

Procedure

To view a previous Exchange Troubleshooting Assistant report

  1. Start the Exchange Troubleshooting Assistant by running ExTrA.exe, or by clicking the appropriate link on the Start menu.

  2. Decide whether you want to download the latest updates, if there are any available.

  3. On the Welcome page, select Select a result file to view.

  4. Select the report that you want to view from the list of locally stored reports. The tool creates the list from the files that are stored at <system drive>\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Microsoft\ExTRA. When you click a report, the tool displays more information about the size and name of the report file, the identifying label, and the version of the tool that was used to collect the data. You can also import a report from another location by clicking Import a result file in the upper-right corner of the page.

  5. Click View a Report to view the report.
