The Microsoft Exchange Analyzer Tool queries the Active Directory directory service to determine the value of the versionNumber attribute for each Exchange Server object. The versionNumber attribute represents the version of Exchange Server that is running on the computer.

The Exchange Analyzer also queries the CIM_Datafile Microsoft Windows® Management Instrumentation (WMI) class to determine the value of the Version key for the Store.exe process.

If the Exchange Analyzer determines that the Version key for Store.exe on a server running Exchange Server 2003 SP2 has a value less than 7651, or a server running Exchange Server 2003 SP1 has a value less than 7234, a warning is displayed.

This warning indicates that the Exchange Server computer is running Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 1 or Exchange Server 2003 SP2 without the update for daylight saving time changes in 2007.

Without this update, calendar items in CDO-based programs and in Outlook Web Access will operate as if standard time is in effect during the extra weeks of daylight saving time.
