Extra Domains

MDaemon contains full support for multiple domains. In addition to the Default Domain dialog, there is the Extra Domains Editor, which is used for designating any additional domains that you wish to support and their IP addresses. MDaemon supports both single and multiple IP addresses. For each Extra Domain, you will include: the domain name, its IP address, whether or not it will be bound to its IP address, and several other settings regarding account and mail pruning and whether or not the AntiVirus and AntiSpam features will be applied to that domain's messages.

Adding an Extra Domain

To add an Extra Domain to the Domain List:

1. Click "Setup » Extra Domains..."
2. Enter the Domain name, FQDN (this is frequently the same as the domain name), and IP Address.
3. Click Bind listening sockets to this IP (only if you want to bind the domain to its IP address).
4. Make any desired changes to the remaining options.
5. Click Add.

Editing an Extra Domain

To edit an Extra Domain:

1. Click "Setup » Extra Domains..."
2. In the list of domains, click the entry that you wish to edit.
3. Make any desired changes in the options below.
4. Click Replace.

Removing an Extra Domain

To remove an Extra Domain:

1. Click "Setup » Extra Domains..."
2. In the list of domains, click the entry that you wish to remove.
3. Click Remove.
