Select the Server and Domain Controller

You can select the server and domain controller Recipient Update Service uses to update recipients.

To select the server and domain controller used for updating recipients:

  1. Start System Manager
    On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. In the console tree, double-click Recipients, and then click Recipient Update Services.
  3. In the details pane, right-click the recipient update service for which you are selecting a server and Windows 2000 domain controller.
  4. In the Recipient Update Service Properties dialog box, click Browse next to the Exchange Server box.
  5. In the Select Exchange Server dialog box, select an Exchange server, and then click OK.
  6. In the Recipient Update Service Properties dialog box, click Browse next to the Windows 2000 Domain Controller box.
  7. In the Select Domain Controller dialog box, select the domain controller that is to be used for updating recipients, and then click OK.
  8. In the Recipient Update Service Properties dialog box, click Apply, and then click OK.
