Delete or Rename an Offline Address List

With the exception of the default Global Address List, you can delete offline address lists if you do not want them to be available for download.

You can change the name of an offline address list you have created. Use a descriptive name to describe the collection of address lists in the offline address list. This is the name your users see when they select offline address lists.

To delete or rename an offline address list:

1. Start System Manager
   On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
2. In the console tree, double-click Recipients, and then click Offline Address Lists.
3. To delete an offline address list, in the details pane, right-click the offline address list you want to delete, and then click Delete.
4. To rename an offline address list, in the details pane, right-click the offline address list you want to rename, and then click Rename. Type the new name for the offline address list.
