Protect User Privacy

User classes allow you to group chat users and then protect the privacy of all the members of that group.

To protect user privacy by hiding class members' IP addresses or DNS names:

  1. Start System Manager
    On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. Create a user class for the chat community where you want to protect users, or select a user class that is already in effect and modify it.
  3. Navigate to the Classes folder.

    1. Chat_community_name
    2. Classes
  4. Right-click Classes, and then click Properties.
  5. Click the user class Access tab.
  6. Select the Hide class members' IP addresses and DNS names check box.
