Hosting Chat Communities

Set the Attack Protection Level

Setting the attack protection level allows you to regulate the flow of traffic from a class of users by limiting the frequency with which the server processes data messages, invitations, join messages, messages from the host to the channel, and standard chat messages (such as notices and whispers).

To set the attack protection level:

  1. Start System Manager
On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. Create a user class for the chat community where you want to set the attack protection level, or select an existing user class and modify it.
  3. Navigate to the Classes folder.
