Hosting Chat Communities

Create a Secure Channel

As more children access the Internet, it is necessary to create secure online environments where children can participate in chats without being exposed to profanity or potentially harmful content. You can use Chat Service to set up a registered channel where only authenticated users, including children, can join.

To set up a registered channel where authenticated users, including children, can join:

  1. Start System Manager
On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. Navigate to the chat community where you want to create a secure channel.
