Publish Information
When you create a new virtual server, you must define one virtual directory as the root of the server for publishing content. After you create a new virtual server, you can create additional virtual directories to publish content not contained within the server's own directory structure. Virtual directories appear to client browsers as though they are part of the virtual server's directory tree. For more information, see the IIS documentation.
