Move a Connector

To move a connector to another server or routing group:

1. Stop the connector services.
2. Remove the connector.

3. Caution   All remote Directory Exchange Agent (DXA) requestors and server objects must be deleted before you remove the MS Mail connector, or they cannot be deleted.

4. Use the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in to delete the contacts that the connector imported into Active Directory.
5. Reinstall the connector at the new installation point.
6. Reconfigure the other messaging system as necessary, and reconfigure the connector tabs on Exchange.
