Use the New Remote Domain page of the New Remote Domain wizard to create a managed connection for a remote domain. When you create a remote domain, you can control mail flow with more precision, specify message formatting and policy, and specify acceptable character sets.


To create a unique name for remote domain, type a unique name in this field.

Domain Name

To enter the SMTP domain that you want to establish as a remote domain, type the domain name in this field. For example, type The domain name may contain up to 256 characters.

Include all subdomains

To include all subdomains of the domain, such as, select the Include all subdomains option.


Click New to create the new remote domain.
