Use the Mail Flow Settings tab to configure message size restrictions, message delivery restrictions, and delivery options for the mailbox user. To view or change a mail flow setting, select the setting from the list, and then click Properties.

The following mail flow settings are available for a mailbox user.

Delivery Options

Select this setting and click Properties to open the Delivery Options dialog box. Use this dialog box to configure the following advanced delivery options for a mailbox user:

  • Send on behalf   Granting this permission to other recipients allows those recipients to send e-mail messages on behalf of a specified mailbox user. Specifically, recipients who are granted this permission will be able to enter the mailbox user's name in the From field for the messages that they send.

  • Forwarding address   You can automatically forward incoming messages to another recipient.

  • Recipients limits   You can configure the maximum number of recipients to whom the mailbox user is allowed to address an e-mail message.

For more information about the Delivery Options dialog box, see Mailbox User Properties > Mail Flow Settings Tab > Delivery Options (RTM).

Message Size Restrictions

Select this setting and click Properties to open the Message Size Restrictions dialog box. Use this dialog box to configure maximum message size in kilobytes (KB) for the mailbox user. You can specify different limits for sending and receiving messages.

For more information about using the Message Size Restrictions dialog box, see Recipient Properties > Mail Flow Settings Tab > Message Size Restrictions (RTM).

Message Delivery Restrictions

Select this setting and click Properties to open the Message Delivery Restrictions dialog box. Use this dialog box to specify which recipients can send messages to this mailbox. You can accept messages from all or a specified set of recipients, reject messages from a specified set of recipients, and require senders to be authenticated.
