Modifying the Properties of a Unified Messaging Server
In Exchange Server 2007 Unified Messaging (UM), the UM server is an integral part of the Unified Messaging system. The UM server processes incoming voice messages, fax messages, and subscriber access calls. The UM server must be associated to at least one UM dial plan before the UM server becomes available to process incoming voice and fax calls.
You can use the Exchange Management Shell or the Exchange Management Console to modify and configure the properties for a specific UM server. You can configure the UM server properties including the number of concurrent calls, the number of concurrent fax calls, and the list of existing UM dial plans associated to the UM server.
