The Get-AttachmentFilterListConfig cmdlet enables an e-mail administrator to view the Attachment Filter agent configuration on a computer that has the Edge Transport server role installed.
Syntax
get-attachmentfilterlistconfig [-DomainController
<Fqdn>]
|
Parameters
Parameter | Required | Type | Description |
---|---|---|---|
DomainController |
Optional |
Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Fqdn |
To specify the fully qualified domain name (FWDN) of the domain controller that writes this configuration change to the Active Directory directory service, include the DomainController parameter on the command. The DomainController parameter is not supported on computers that have the Edge Transport server role installed. The Edge Transport server role writes only to the local ADAM instance. |
Detailed Description
The Attachment Filter agent can block attachments from entering the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 organization based on the content type and the file name of the attachment. The configuration of the Attachment Filter agent determines how attachments are processed.
The Get-AttachmentFilterListConfig cmdlet enables the administrator to view the configuration information for the Attachment Filter agent.
To run the Get-AttachmentFilterListConfig cmdlet on a computer that has the Edge Transport server role installed, you must log on by using an account that is a member of the local Administrators group on that computer.
