The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool queries the Win32_BIOS Microsoft Windows® Management Instrumentation (WMI) class to determine the value of the SMBIOSBIOSVersion key. The value returned represents the version number of the BIOS installed on the computer. The Exchange Server Analyzer also examines the Win32_ComputerSystem WMI class to determine the value of the Model key.
If the Exchange Server Analyzer finds that the Model key contains any of the following strings, and the SMBIOSBIOSVersion is not the latest version for the model, a warning is displayed:

- PowerEdge 2600
- PowerEdge 2650
- PowerEdge 2800
- PowerEdge 2850
- PowerEdge 3250

- PowerEdge 6300
- PowerEdge 6350
- PowerEdge 6400
- PowerEdge 6450
- PowerEdge 6600
- PowerEdge 6650
- PowerEdge 6800
- PowerEdge 6850
- PowerEdge 7150
- PowerEdge 7250
- PowerEdge 8450
