Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 setup cannot continue because the attempt to install the Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) failed.

An older installation of ADAM exists in the default location. Exchange setup cannot perform a new ADAM install to an existing ADAM directory structure.

To resolve this issue, remove the existing ADAM folder and then rerun Exchange setup.
