The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool queries the Active Directory® directory service to determine whether the heuristics attribute has been set on the Exchange Server organization. If the Exchange Server Analyzer finds that that bit 1024 is set in the heuristics, the Exchange Server Analyzer displays a warning.

Exchange Server 2003, SP2 introduced the ability for an administrator to stop all public folder content replication in the organization. You can stop all public folder replication by right-clicking the Organization name in Exchange System Management and clicking Stop Public Folder Content Replication. When Stop Public Folder Content Replication is clicked, bit 1024 is set in the heuristics attribute. You should only stop all public folder replication in extreme cases, such as troubleshooting an organization-wide public folder or mail flow issue.

You must resume public folder content replication if the following conditions are true:

To resume public folder content replication at the organization level
  1. Open Exchange System Manager.

  2. Right-click Organization_Name, and then click Resume Public Folder Content Replication.

For more information about public folder replication, see Best Practices for Exchange Server Public Folders (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=46437).
