The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool reads the following registry entry to determine its current value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeMTA\Parameters\Call-stack diagnostics required
If the Exchange Server Analyzer finds the value for Call-stack diagnostics required present and set to anything other than 1, a non-default configuration message is displayed.
The Call-stack diagnostics required registry value is used for advanced debugging purposes only, and is only read by a debug version of the message transfer agent (MTA). Its value data should always be set to 1. When a debug version of the MTA is used, this value provides a call stack for each MTA thread at termination time.
