It is possible to obtain the log file from a device, even if the device has not uploaded it to the server running the Device Update Web service, as long as the device is on the network. To upload Microsoft Lync 2010 Phone Edition device logs, do one of the following:

• If you are not signed in to the device running Lync 2010 Phone Edition, on the System Information screen, click Send Logs.
  
  
• If you are signed in to the device running Lync 2010 Phone Edition, on the device Settings menu, click Logging, and then click Send Logs.
