This topic provides guidance on how to define a new A/V Conferencing Server when you have selected a stand-alone A/V Conferencing Server as an option in Topology Builder. This is not guidance for defining an A/V Conferencing Server after you have completed your Topology Builder design. For details, see Define the A/V Conferencing Server in Topology Builder.

To define a new A/V Conferencing Server

  1. On the Define the new A/V Conferencing Server page in Topology Builder, click New.

    Important:
Ensure that you consider carefully whether to configure a single A/V Conferencing Server or a pool. See the topic Planning for Conferencing for detailed planning guidance.

To define a single A/V Conferencing Server

  1. On the Define the A/V Conferencing pool FQDN page in Topology Builder, if you are defining a single server pool, click Single computer pool, specify the A/V Conferencing FQDN, and then click Next.

  2. On the Define the new A/V Conferencing Server page, click Finish.

To define a pool of A/V Conferencing Servers

  1. On the Define the A/V Conferencing pool FQDN page Topology Builder, if you are defining a pool of servers, click Multiple computer pool, specify the Pool FQDN, and then click Next.

  2. On the Define the computers in this pool page, enter the Computer FQDN for each computer in the pool, and click Add after each entry.

  3. On the Define the new A/V Conferencing Server page Topology Builder, click Finish.
