The Compliance Server produces a troubleshooting log file, which is located in the installation folder under Logs. You can change the log level of the Compliance service dynamically without having to restart the service.

To change the log level of the Compliance service

  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Lync Server 2010 Group Chat.

  2. Open the Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Group Chat Configuration tool.

  3. On the File menu, click Configure Server Settings.

  4. On the left side of the console tree, click System Wide, and then click the Compliance tab.

  5. Select a new log level, and then click OK.
