To integrate Office Communications Server with Exchange Unified Messaging, you must run the Exchange UM Integration Utility (OCSUMUtil.exe). The utility has two functions:
- Create contact objects for all defined Exchange Unified
Messaging subscriber access and auto-attendants. These objects are
needed to route incoming subscriber access and auto-attendant calls
to Exchange Unified Messaging.
- Verify that the Exchange Unified Messaging SIP dial plan names
match the corresponding Office Communications Server location
profiles. This functionality is needed to enable the routing of
outgoing calls from Exchange Unified Messaging to Office
Communications Server and to ensure that the correct number
normalization is performed. The tool does not correct any
mismatches; it only displays them.
The tool is installed on Office Communications Server, Front End Server, at %programfiles%\Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2\Support\ocsumutil.exe.

On a Server Front End Server, open a Command Prompt window, and then go to C:\ProgramFiles\Common Files\Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2\Support\.
