However, it is recommended that customers always update to the latest meeting client version.
Microsoft announces releases of new major and incremental versions of the meeting client and installer. You can test updates against Office Communications Server 2007 R2 deployment by installing the software on a few test computers. When testing of the updated meeting client is complete, you can deploy the software update in a phased manner.
After a new version of the meeting client is installed on a users computer, the updated version starts when the user attends a meeting that is using the corresponding version of Office Communications Server 2007.
