To perform the upgrade, use the full version of Server.msi.
To upgrade the installation of each Enterprise Edition server

Log on to the Enterprise Edition server as a member of the Administrators group.

Start Server.msi by using one of the following two methods:
- Start the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Deployment
Wizard. Under
Upgrade from the Evaluation Version, click
Install.
- At a command prompt, change the default folder to the
installation folder or the Setup\amd64\setup folder of the
installation CD. At the command prompt, type the following command
as described in
Overview of the
Upgrade Process:
Copy Code MsiExec.exe /i Server.msi EVALTOFULL=1 [/l*v <Drive:\Directory\FileName.log>] [/q[n|b|r][+]]
Copy Code MsiExec.exe /i Server.msi EVALTOFULL=1 /l*v C:\Upgrade.log
- Start the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Deployment
Wizard. Under
Upgrade from the Evaluation Version, click
Install.

Follow the instructions in the wizard to complete the upgrade.

Click Finishto exit the wizard.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 for each Enterprise Edition server in the Enterprise pool.
