This section discusses the client compatibility and integration issues you should consider during migration to Microsoft Communications Server 2010 and Microsoft Communicator "14".

The basic requirements for support of Communications Server 2010 clients are as follows:

• Client computers running Windows XP SP3 or later.
  
  
• Microsoft Office 2007 suites or later, and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 or later, for integration between Communicator "14" and Microsoft Outlook.
  
  
• Supoort for Microsoft Silverlight 4.0--required by Communicator "14" and installed during setup.
