In Communications Server Control Panel, the global conferencing policy defines the default scheduling experience, and the global meeting configuration settings define the default join experience.
To modify the default global meeting scheduling settings

Open Communications Server Control Panel.

In the left navigation bar, click Conferencing.

On the Conferencing Policy tab, click Global, click Edit, and then click Modify.

Scroll to the Allow users to schedule meetings with application sharing check box, which is selected by default. This means that, by default, users can schedule meetings by using application sharing. To prevent the use of application sharing for scheduling meetings, clear the Allow users to schedule meetings with application sharing check box.

Click Commit.
To modify the default global join experience

Open Communications Server Control Panel.

In the left navigation bar, click Conferencing.

Click the Meeting Configuration tab, and click Global, click Edit, and then click Modify.

In the Edit Meeting Configuration dialog box, do any of the following:
- By default, public switched telephone network (PSTN) calls go
directly to the meeting. To route PSTN calls through the lobby,
clear the PSTN callers bypass lobby check box.
- By default, the company is the designated presenter. To allow
anyone or no one to be the designated presenter, in Designate a
presenter, click Everyone or None,
respectively.
- By default, a conference type is assigned to every meeting. To
prevent the default assignment of a conference type, clear the
Assigned conference type by default check box.
- By default, anonymous users are admitted to meetings. Anonymous
users are users who do not have credentials in your organization’s
Active Directory Domain Services and therefore are not
authenticated). To prevent the default admittance of anonymous
users, clear the Admit anonymous users by default check
box.
- By default, public switched telephone network (PSTN) calls go
directly to the meeting. To route PSTN calls through the lobby,
clear the PSTN callers bypass lobby check box.

Click Commit.
