On the Start menu, point to
Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click
System Manager.
Navigate to the
Channels folder for the chat community where you want to
transcribe the conversation.

Click the Channels folder.
In the Details pane, right-click the channel on which
conversations will be transcribed, and then click
Properties.
On the channel's Extensions tab, verify that the Channel
Transcription extension appears in the window.
Note The channel's
Extensions tab lists all of the installed extensions for the
chat community in which the channel is defined.
If the Channel Transcription extension does not appear,
navigate to the
IRCX folder for the server that hosts the chat community
where you want to transcribe chats.

If the Channel Transcription extension does appear, go to step
12.
Right-click IRCX, and then click Properties.
On the IRCX Properties General tab, choose the chat
community where you want to transcribe conversations from the list,
then click Properties, and then click
Extensions.
In Extensions, click Add.
In Add Extension, click the Channel Transcription
extension (TScript) from the list in Extension.
