Synchronize Directories Immediately

Access the Dirsync Schedule tab to start an immediate synchronization of the GroupWise directory and Active Directory.

To synchronize directories immediately:

1. Start System Manager
   On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
2. Navigate to Connector for Novell GroupWise.

3. Right-click Connector for Novell GroupWise (server_name), and then click Properties.
4. On the Dirsync Schedule tab, select one of the following options.

5. Exchange to GroupWise directory synchronization
   Immediate full reload	Forces an immediate reload of Active Directory entries specified in the global catalog to the GroupWise directory.
   Immediate update	Forces an immediate update (changed and new entries only) from Active Directory to the GroupWise directory. Note   If you change the GroupWise address of an Exchange user, you must do a full reload to propagate the change to GroupWise. Exchange users (called external users) in the GroupWise directory are uniquely identified by their GroupWise address. Thus, a change made to an Exchange user's GroupWise address on Exchange cannot be propagated to GroupWise unless the user's old address is deleted first.
   GroupWise to Exchange directory synchronization
   Immediate full reload	Forces an immediate reload of the entire GroupWise directory to Active Directory.
   Immediate update	This option is not available for Novell GroupWise.
